Piochons has no account, no ads and no analytics. Your collection and plays stay on your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud.
1. Your collection and plays
Games, sheets, notes, loans, regular players and plays are stored on the iPhone (SwiftData) and synced to the private database of your iCloud account (CloudKit) when iCloud is on. The publisher has no access to them.
2. Box photos
Reading the title from a box photo happens on the iPhone (Apple's Vision). The photo becomes the game's cover and stays in your collection.
3. Game search
When you search for a game that isn't in the built-in catalogue, the typed title is sent to public board game catalogues to find its details. No personal data goes with that search.
4. Barcodes
When you link a barcode to a game, the barcode / game details pair is published to a community iCloud database to help the next players. Nothing else is shared: not your name, your collection or your plays.
5. Purchase
The one-time purchase goes through Apple's App Store. Piochons never sees any payment information.
6. Your rights
Deleting the app erases the data on the iPhone; iCloud data is managed from your device's iCloud settings. Any question: piochons@lacobble.dev.
