At random, yes, but not blindly. Games that don't fit the player count, the time, the mood or "beginners at the table" are set aside. Among the rest, recently played ones come up far less, while never-played games and those forgotten for months come up more often.
The card is set aside for the night and another one flips over. If nothing else fits, Piochons draws again among the games already turned down rather than offering nothing.
About thirty seconds per game. Search forgives typos and accents, the box photo reads the title and becomes the cover, and the add sheet stays open so you can keep going.
No. Public databases cover board games poorly: the barcode is a bonus. Title search and the box photo are enough. And every code you link helps whoever scans the same box next.
No. As long as it's marked as lent, it isn't offered. You also know who you lent it to.
Free up to 25 games. Beyond that, a one-time purchase unlocks unlimited games and the full history. No subscription, no ads.
Your collection and plays stay on the iPhone and in your iCloud. The only things that leave are the title typed in a search (to public catalogues) and, if you link one, the barcode / game pair sent to the community database.
